# Deleting workspaces and accounts

#### Delete a workspace

Deleting a workspace removes it and everything inside it — projects, tasks, files, brand knowledge, whiteboards, moodboards, documents, and every member's access.

* Only **workspace administrators** can delete a workspace.
* Open **Settings → Account → Danger Zone → Delete workspace**.
* To confirm, type the workspace name exactly, then select **Delete forever**.

If you belong to more than one workspace, you switch to another one after deleting. If it was your only workspace, you are signed out.

> This affects all members. Anyone with access to the workspace loses it, along with all of its data. Make sure the team no longer needs the content first.

#### Delete your account

Deleting your account removes your personal data and signs you out for good.

* Available to **every user** (not only administrators).
* Open **Settings → Account → Delete account**.
* To confirm, type your **email address**, then select **Delete account**.

**What happens to your data**

* **Workspaces you created** are deleted entirely — including their projects, files, brand content, and every other member's access.
* **Content you created in workspaces owned by other people** stays for the team, but is anonymized — your name is removed from it.
* Your **personal data** — profile, notes, personal files, chat messages, reminders, tasks, comments, and connected sign-in — is permanently removed.

> If you are the **only administrator of a shared workspace**, deleting your account also deletes that workspace and removes access for its other members. If you want the team to keep it, transfer the admin role or hand over the workspace before deleting your account.

#### Before you delete

Because both actions are irreversible, consider first:

* exporting or downloading anything you want to keep
* handing over admin rights on shared workspaces you still want to exist
* checking that teammates no longer depend on the content

Once confirmed, the deletion is immediate and cannot be recovered.
