# Sharing and permissions

### Workspace access

Workspace members can access organization-wide areas according to their role. Administrators manage shared settings, integrations, invitations, and billing.

### Project access

Use project membership when someone should work on selected brands or clients without accessing every project in the workspace.

### Collaboration inside i7OS

Depending on the feature, collaborators can:

* receive assigned tasks
* comment on tasks and documents
* use checklists and attachments
* mention other members
* collaborate on brainstorm boards
* follow updates and notifications

### Share a document

Documents can be shared with selected collaborators. Keep confidential brand or client information limited to the people who need it.

### Publish a brand book

A public brand book gives partners, freelancers, or clients access to a selected brand snapshot without opening the complete internal workspace.

The public version remains unchanged until you update it. This gives your team control over when internal edits become externally visible.

### Recommended approach

* Give workspace-wide access only when necessary
* Use project access for clients and external collaborators
* Review public links before sending them
* Update shared brand snapshots deliberately
* Remove access when a collaboration ends
